Inflatable nurse-bot ‘Baymax’ returns on June 29

Disney+ has released a new trailer for its upcoming series Baymax! The new trailer revealed more hijinks and confirming a June 29 premiere date for the Big Hero 6 spin-off series, reports Screenrant.

Inflatable robot nurse ‘Baymax’ first appeared in 2014 animated film ‘Big Hero 6’. The film series has created a 2D animated series, Big Hero 6, running from 2017 to 2021. In 2020, during Disney Investor Day, they announced that a new Baymax- focused series will be coming to Disney+.

The trailer was released on Disney Animation's Twitter account with the caption, "Everyone needs a big hero." The trailer begins with Hiro Hamada finding Baymax is missing. The trailer goes on as it shows that the adorable companion robot trying his best to help the people of ‘San Fransokyo’ (fictional city intraduced in Big Hero 6), even if they don't need help.

Along with the new trailer, Disney also featured key art for the series, which has Baymax holding a lollipop while having San Fransokyo in the background. Apart of Hiro and Cass it also has several new characters.

Baymax! will feature the return of several cast members from Big Hero 6, including Scott Adsit (Baymax), Ryan Potter (Hiro Hamada), and Maya Rudolph (Cass). Additional voice talent for the series includes Emily Kuroda, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson, and Jaboukie Young-White. Roy Conli and Bradford Simonsen produced Baymax! with Dean Wellins, Lissa Treiman, Dan Abraham, and Mark Kennedy serving as directors. Cirocco Dunlap served as the series’ screenwriter.
