Music Composer, lyricist and orator Mohammad Asafuddowlah, has released his 13 new songs in the form of music videos. The launching ceremony of the songs was held at a Hotel in the capital on May 22.
Sung by Piu Mukharjee, all the 13 songs are written and tuned by Mohammad Asafuddowlah. Music videos of the 13 songs are--‘Pore Ki Mone’, ‘Obak Aloy’, ‘Ekhon Shomoy Hole’, ‘Baire Srabon’, ‘Keno Chole Jate’, ‘Kare Kare Boli’, ‘Kono Raat’, ‘Megh Eshe Chuye Jay’, ‘Fire Fire Cheye’, ‘Rong E Tomay Shajabo’, ‘Gacher Shari’, ‘Tumi Chara Ke Ba’ and ‘Tumito Ekhono’. Pandit Tejendra Majumdar had directed and arranged these 13 music videos.
At the music launching event the West Bengal singer Piu Mukharjee has mesmerised the audience by singing 6 selected songs.
Organised by Yamaha Music Bangladesh the programme was attended by many prominent personalities from Bangladesh. All the music videos are uploaded on YouTube from Mohammad Asafuddowlah’s own YouTube channel M Asafuddowlah.
He is also a famous music exponent with vast knowledge in classical, Nazrul and Rabindra Sangeet. In his musical journey, Mohammad Asafuddowlah, so far has worked with many of the legendary musicians from Bangladesh, India and Pakistan notably, Feroza Begum, Ustad Ghulam Ali, Ustad Hamid Khan, Ustad Sagiruddin Khan, Abida Parveen and Haimanti Shukla. He was also a former secretary of the Water Development Board of the Government of Bangladesh. He was awarded the Ekushey Padak in 1993 by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to music.
