Mithila now in Dhaka for ‘Kajal Rekha’

Once upon a time, Mithila was an actress and model only in Bangladesh, but now she is a popular actress in two Bengals. She had to stay in Kolkata for a long time the year for her family. However, this time Mithila comes to the country with a long break.

About returning to the country Mithila informed that she came to the country to take part in the shooting of a film ‘Kajal Rekha’ and also to do some office work.

Mithila has already taken part in the shooting for the film ‘Kajal Rekha’ directed by Gias Uddin Selim at Durgapur in Netrakona. In this film, she is playing the role of Kankon Dasi. 

After finishing shooting, she will have some office work at Brac, and next week she will leave for Tanzania and Kenya for one month for her official work. Then she will go to America next month. There, Mithila-acted ‘Maya’ directed by Rajshi Dey will be screened at the Banga Sammelan. 

Rafiath Rashid Mithila is working as Head of Early Childhood Development in BRAC International. 

Mithila said, “I consider myself as a global citizen. That’s why I have to stay out of the country for office work at a certain time of the year. And now my family is in Kolkata, so I have to spend a lot of time in Kolkata. That is the reason I couldn’t give enough time to my parents and siblings. But my daughter is always with me. He is now studying in Kolkata.” 

On the other hand, today is Mithila’s birthday. Mithila said, “Actually I do not make any birthday plans anymore as I did when I was a child. Though I am spending time on the set of the film ‘Kajal Rekha’, I do not have any plan regarding my birthday.”

“This is my first work under the direction of Selim Bhai. Selim Bhai explained very well that I could act very easily. I am trying to portray my character. However, the character of Kankon Dasi is completely a different one. I am very optimistic about the film”, she added.
