Dighi to make OTT debut

Prarthana Fardin Dighi is all set to make her debut on the web with the film ‘Shesh Chithi’.

The film, directed by Sumon Dhar, will be released on OTT platform Chorki on June 2. Dighi will be seen opposite Yash Rohan in this web film.

“The very first time, I heard the story of ‘Shesh Chithi’ it just got stuck in my mind. In between, I received offers for a few more web films but I didn’t wanted to work in any of them before the release of my first web film,” said Dighi.

“All the characters in this film have their own story of everyday struggle, relationship crisis and dreams. This is a film with which audience can relate very much,” she added.

“I was told that Yash will be working with me in this project. However, we first met while signing the contract of the web film. Later on, we started the shooting. Overall experience of working was very pleasant,” said Dighi regarding her experience of working with Yash.

The story of the film revolves around the daily life of a middle-class family. Yash and Dighi will be seen as husband and wife. Saberi Alam will be seen as mother of Yash in the film.

Dighi debuted in entertainment industry as a child artiste through a television commercial for Grameenphone. She debuted in cinema as a child artiste in Kazi Hayat’s ‘Kabuliwala’.  Later she made her debut as a heroine with ‘Tungi Parar Mia Bhai’ last year. She also won National Film Award thrice.
