Legendary actor late Bulbul Ahmed’s daughter Oindrila Ahmed who has been attached with music and acting during childhood, still wants to be in acting but does not getting good scripts. She is not acting in any projects as she did not find any story or role she could like.

“I’m now doing a part-time job in a foreign company. Besides, I keep myself busy with my family and children,” said Oindrila Ahmed.

“It’s not like I’m not getting any offers, but I’m not getting the script I want. If I get the script and the character suits me, I will definitely manage my schedule and will start acting. But if it is not a good script, I don’t want to act just to be regular in acting. I want to do the acting and I really love acting. I will be back in acting whenever I get a good script. I love acting,” she added.

Oindrila started as a child artiste at the age of four in a TVC. She made her debut in teledrama in 1988. After that, she acted in many teledramas, TVCs and she even did modelling as well.

Oindrila also took a four-year break from the entertainment industry and returned by acting opposite popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba in Rubel Hasan’s tele-drama ‘Beloved’, while its story came from actor Apurba. That tele-drama was highly appreciated by the audience.

After ‘Beloved’, Oindrila acted in several dramas in a row. But after that she did not get any good script and according to her this is the reason she is not working since the pandemic begun.

Besides ‘Beloved’, she starred in Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s ‘Sansarik Bhalobasha’ opposite Apurba, Prithu Raj’s ‘Ekti Premer Porer Oddhay’, Dipu Hazra’s ‘Fake Love’ and many more. Oindrila has also acted in television commercials. She also emceed the program ‘Esho Mili Bhalobasar Utsabe’ on GTV.

Alongside acting, Oindrila also sings well. She still tries practice singing at home.
