Chandni back to acting with ‘Dujoner Duti Poth’

After a long hiatus, popular small screen actress Chandni is back in acting with a drama titled ‘Dujonar Duti Poth’.

Directed by Shadat Hossain Nipu, the drama will be aired on BTV tonight at 9:00 pm. The drama is written by Jamal Uddin Jamal.

The story of the drama revolves around university friends Hossain, Jamal, and Shiuli. Shiuli loves Hossain. As the story progresses, Jamal marries another girl and comes to see Hossain who is now suffering from an incurable disease. Thus the story of the drama goes on.

The drama also stars Farhana Mili, Shahadat Hossain Nipu, Iqbal Babu, Kajal Majumder, Kabir Tutul among others.

Chandni started her career with the film ‘Dukhai’ in 1994. She also appeared in many television dramas during that time. She also won an award in the dance category in ‘Notun Kuri’, a reality talent hunt show for child artists aired on Bangladesh Television. She secured two national awards for her acting in the films ‘Lal Shalu’ and ‘Joyjatra’. She went off-air after marrying the popular singer Bappa Mazumder in 2008.
