Theatre troupe Charuneedam is going to stage three dramas directed by actor-director Gazi Rakayet at the Studio Theatre Hall of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy at 7:00pm on June 10.
Audience will enjoy all three dramas – ‘Arshola’, ‘Nana Ronger Din’ and ‘Sharater Megh’ –by purchasing one ticket.
‘Arshola’ is based on Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s truggle before he got famous.
The play was written by Tennessee Williams and Nirup Mitra translated it into Bangla. The rest two, ‘Nana
Ronger Din’ and ‘Sharater Megh’, are written by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov and Ajitesh Bandopadhyay translated them.
Plot of ‘Nana Ronger Din’ is based on the social evaluation of an artiste and ‘Sharater Megh’ is a drama of romantic genre. With ‘Nana Ranger Din’, Charuneedam Theatre started its journey in 2007.
Dr Marjia Akhter, Alamgir Sagar, Shahriar Mithun, Ananya Haque, Subarna Saeed, Ashiul Islam, Akhand Zahid and Gazi Rakayet are acting in three plays.
