The trailer of Chanchal Chowdhury’s upcoming film ‘Hawa’ has recently created a buzz among the audience. The actor is also getting a response for his performance in the film ‘Paap Punno’.

“I actually work in movies with a gap of two or three years. The film ‘Paap-Punno’ didn’t reach the success level of ‘Monpura’, ‘Aynabaji’ or ‘Debi’. Even the campaign of ‘Debi’ was satisfactory and for that, the film reached a good number of audiences. I’m not satisfied with the promotion of ‘Paap-Punno’ and things would be different for my upcoming film ‘Hawa’,” said Chanchal regarding the film ‘Paap-Punno’.

He continued, “Though the campaign for the film ‘Paap-Punno’ was not that much, I have received a good response for the film. But, this is not satisfactory to me. I think, a lack of promotion is the reason behind the fewer audiences in the halls. However, as far as the audience was concerned and those with whom I spoke directly gave me a quiet response about the film.”

The trailer of Chanchal’s much-awaited film ‘Hawa’ directed by Mejbaur Rahman Sumon was released on Tuesday. Just after its release, the film triggered a stir among Bangladeshi movie lovers.

“The response of the audience after the trailer release is quite good. Sumon put a lot of effort into this film. I believe ‘Hawa’ will take Bangladesh cinema a step ahead in the international arena. For the audience, I will request that they go to the cinema hall and watch the film without waiting for the OTT or YouTube release. The film industry will survive and make progress only if the audience keeps visiting the halls, “said Chanchal.

Chanchal’s ‘Monpura’ is a milestone in the Bangladeshi film industry. ‘Monpura’ is a film in which Giasuddin Selim made his directorial debut on the silver screen. This follows Amitabh Reza Chowdhury’s, ‘Aynabaji’ and Anam Biswas’s ‘Debi’. It is now said in the entertainment industry that, whoever makes their directorial debut on the silver screen with Chanchal Chowdhury becomes successful.

Chanchal is now busy with the projects for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. He will be seen in Eid dramas directed by Sokal Ahmed, Niaz Mahbub, and Dipu Hazra. Along with that, he is acting in Syed Ahmed Shawki’s web series ‘Karagar’. Salahuddin Lavlu’s daily soap ‘Shanda Panda’ and Sokal Ahmed’s ‘Sarkar and Sons’ will be airing soon.
