Mim starrer ‘Poran’ to hit theatre this Eid

After being postponed multiple times, Bidya Sinha Saha Mim’s upcoming film “Poran” is all set to be released this Eid-ul-Azha.

The entire shooting of the movie was completed in 2019, but its release got postponed multiple times due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on a true story, ‘Poran’ is a story of a love triangle.

Yash Rohan and Sariful Razz will be seen in this film in important roles. Apart from them, Shilpi Sharkar Apu, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rosey Siddiqui, Lutfor Rahman George, Mili Bashar, and Rashed Mamun Apu also star in other roles in the movie.

Produced by Live Technologies, Raihan Rafi and Shahjahan Sourav have written the screenplay of the film.

After the release of the trailer in 2020, audiences started to predict that the story is based on the story of Barguna’s much-talked-about Rifat-Minni incident. But without reliving much at that time, the director just said that the story is based on a true story and will be a love triangle.

Raihan Rafi is quite optimistic about the movie “Poran” made for the big screen. In addition to “Poran”, he is going to present two more movies--Damal and Ittefaq-- to get the audience back to the cinema hall.

The movie will present thrilling entertainment to the audience in the continuation of Director Raihan Rafi’s social reform content. He has already shaken the conscience of the public through the film “Janowar”. In that light, the “Poran” movie can also be a creative reflection of a true event.
