Aiming to help the flood-victims of Sylhet, Dhaka University Film Society has organised a two-day film screening titled ‘Film for Flood Victims’ at TSC Auditorium. All the collections from the exhibition will go to charity work and will be used to help the flood victims of Sylhet.
The two-day exhibition started yesterday and will come to an end today. The ticket will cost a minimum of 100 Taka and if anyone wants to donate more, there is an option for that too.
The screening will start today at 10:00am with Goutam Ghose’s film ‘Padma Nodir Majhi’. ‘Hothat Brishti’ directed by Basu Chatterjee will start at 12:00pm. Imtiaz Bijon Ahmed’s directorial film ‘Matir Projar Deshe’ will start at 3:00pm and the last show of the day is expected to be Abdullah Mohammad Saad’s ‘Live from Dhaka’. The screening will start at 6:00pm in the evening.
Screening of ‘Pitch Dhala Poth’, ‘Ei Ghor Ei Songsar’, ‘Ghetu Putro Komola’, and ‘Monpura’ took place on the first day of the event.
