Mejbaur Rahman Sumon’s directorial debut film ‘Hawa’ and Raihan Rafi’s ‘Poran’ are all set to hit the cinemas. Both the films have received censor clearance from Bangladesh Film Censor Board recently.
Shooting for both films was completed in 2019. The film ‘Hawa’ starring Chanchal Chowdhury as Chan Majhi, is expected to release this July, while ‘Poran’ is finally set to release this Eid-ul-Azha.
Advance tickets for the Bidya Sinha Mim, Sariful Razz and Yash Rohan starrer film ‘Poran’ are already available in the market and the promotional team is now putting their best efforts into promoting the film. According to the director, the trailer of this film will be released today. One of the tracks ‘Cholo Niralay’, from ‘Poran’ has been released. In addition to ‘Poran’, Raihan Rafi is going to present two more movies ‘Damal’ and ‘Ittefaq’ to get the audience back to the cinema hall.
After the release of the trailer ‘Hawa’, its mysterious storyline, diversified characters, and cinematography instantly drew the attention of the audience and their reaction on social media reflected that the movie might meet their thirst for good cinema. The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Nazifa Tushi, Shariful Islam Razz, Sumon Anowar, Shohel Mondol, Nasir Uddin Khan, Abdul Jabbar Chowdhury, Mahmud Hasan, and Bablu Bose in the main roles.
Based on a true story, ‘Poran’ is a story of a love triangle while the story of ‘Hawa’ is the modern representation of the mythology-based on water.
