Dithi sings on Apu’s composition

Popular singer Dithi Anwar lent her voice to the songs ‘Robi Thakur’ and ‘Ghorir Kata’. Lyrics of the songs are written by her father Gazi Mazharul Anwar, while music composition was done by Apu Aman.

Recording for both the songs have been completed before Eid-ul-Azha. The shooting for the music videos is yet to finish which will be done after Dithi’s return from America.

“Tune of both songs mesmerized me. Anyone can get confused thinking both the tunes was done by a highly experienced composer. I heard a lot about Apu from my father. I think two very nice songs have been added in my career after singing these two songs,” said Dithi.

Talking about her father Gazi Mazharul Anwar she said, “It’s been a long my father been writing songs and he didn’t retire even after reaching this age. Till now anyone can find a touch of modernism in his songs. We still collaborate easily when we sing. Both the lyrics of ‘Robi Thakur’ and ‘Ghorir Kata’ are amazing.”

“Gazi Mazharul Anwar asked me to make these two songs which is a big thing for me. He trusted me with his songs and this is a matter of great joy to me,” said Apu Aman regarding his feelings about the songs. About Dithi Anwar he said, “I think these two songs might become her best song till now. She now has a matured voice and also did brilliant work while singing these songs.”
