Popular Dhallywood actress Apu Biswas is all set to produce her government-grant film ‘Laal Sari’. This is the first time Apu Biswas will be producing a film.
The film ‘Laal Sari’ has received government-fund worth Tk 650, 0000.
Apu recently posted pictures from the government office on her Facebook page where she was receiving the first cheque from Information and Broadcasting Secretary Md Mokbul Hossain on Wednesday.
She captioned the post saying, “New Journey, new life, wants prayers from all. Thank you to the honourable Prime Minister for supporting Bangla films, I hope she will be standing by Bangla films always like this. May Bangladeshi films be victorious always.”
‘Laal Sari’ will be produced under the banner of the Apu-Joy Production house. The cast of ‘Laal Sari’ is yet to be relieved.
It is noted that a total of 19 movies were announced as government-grant films on June 15 for the fiscal year 2021-22.
