Subhashree makes OTT debut

Subhashree Ganguly is going to make her presence on OTT with Debaloy Bhattacharya’s series ‘Indubala Bhater Hotel’ for Hoichoi. In the series, Subhashree will play the role of Indubala.

The series is based on Kollol Lahiri’s novel ‘Indubala Bhaater Hotel’. The shooting of the series will be taking place in Bangladesh and India.

The series revolves around Indubala whose childhood was spent on the bank of Kopotakkha River in Khulna district and who got married in Kolkata at an early age. However, she became a widow at a young age. The series will show the story of a woman who works dedicatedly to keep her heritage alive, by acting as a liaison between both Bengals through the language of food. Her journey, struggles, and the little moments between them encapsulate the essence of Indubala Bhaater Hotel.

Apart from Subhashree the series will cast Suhotra Mukhopadhyay, Angana Roy, Mithun Chakraborty, and others.
