‘Deho Station’ streaming on Amazon Prime

Bangladeshi filmmaker Ahmed Tahsin Sham’s ‘Deho Station’ is now streaming on OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.

Released in July, the film is now available for the US and the UK audience only but it will be released for the audience of Bangladesh within a few days.

The film is based on a sex worker and her daughter, and the story of them trying to survive in society.

The social tragedy drama film is also known as ‘A Tale of Night Flowers’.

The film features Kolkata-based actress Moumita Mitra as the protagonist character as she plays the role of a prostitute in the film.

The 127-min film, is filmed in black and white for specific cinematic treatment. Started in 2012 the shooting of film was completed in 2014. The post production of the film was completed by 2015.

Fahmida Nabi, Tanzir Tuhin, Shamayla Behroze Rahman and Noshin Sharmili lent their voices for the

songs of this film while Neel Kamrul took on the role of music director for the movie.

The film stars Moumita Mitra, Shahadat Hossain, SM Mohsin, Hossain Mohammad Belal, Ahmed Rana, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Farhana Iva, Shoikot Siddique and others.

‘Deho Station’ is the second film of the director. The first one was a 60min production that was aired on Channel-i in 2011.
