‘Karagar’ releasing on August 19

Chanchal Chowdhury’s much-anticipated web series ‘Karagar’ will be releasing on August 19 on OTT platform Hoichoi.

The teaser of the web-series has been released on Friday and just after the release the teaser created a buzz on social media. The web-series, starring Chanchal as a mysterious prisoner, is helmed by ‘Taqdeer’ famed director Syed Ahmed Shawki.

The teaser starts with Akashnagar Central Jail where 325 prisoner. However, one morning they found a extra prisoner in a cell of a jail that has not been opened for almost 50 years. Though the prisoner can’t talk but understand sign language. He claimed to be a prisoner of that cell and he was been imprisoned for 250 years. He also claimed that he killed Mir Zafar and more interestingly he knows everything.

The web-series also casts Tasnia Farin, Intekhab Dinar, Fs Nayeem, Afzal H. Dossani and others.
