BTS likely to enthrall Dhaka audiences next year

The world-famous South Korean pop band BTS, also known as the Bangtan Sonyondan, (Bulletproof Boys), has been officially invited to perform in Dhaka.

Swapan Chowdhury, the owner of event management company Antar Showbiz, recently announced this news to several media outlets.

He said that their expectations are very high as the members of the boy band are the most desired bachelors in the world at the moment and BTS' world tour schedule is booked until 2024.

Swapan Chowdhury clarified, "We have contacted them officially. I also talked to their manager.

Reviewing my company’s portfolio in Bangladesh and knowing about the BTS craze in Bangladesh, they have informed me that they will find a time in early 2023 to come to Dhaka. We will announce the confirmed date and venue to the media very soon.”

"I have previously brought Shahrukh Khan to Bangladesh and held an event. World-famous stars like Adnan Sami have also performed in Dhaka at my invitation. So, I am not announcing it without speaking to the proper authorities. BTS fans of Bangladesh can prepare themselves to watch the live performance of the band,” Swapan added.

Antar Showbiz is also the organiser of the Miss World beauty pageant in Bangladesh.

BTS was formed in 2010 and debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment. The septet, consisting of members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, co-writes and co-produces much of their own material.
