Roman Sacrifice returns with ‘Bibhrom’

After a long hiatus, Bangladeshi metal band Roman Sacrifice released its latest track ‘Bibhrom’ and its music video on Thursday. The track is available worldwide on YouTube, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, TIDAL, JioSaavn and iTunes.

The six-minute-long music video, directed by the band’s frontman Raiyan Dio Sarwar, is receiving positive reviews from Bangladeshi metal heads on social media. It features Roman Sacrifice performing the song with a parallel storyline of a mental patient diagnosed with schizophrenia.

The band’s frontman Raiyan Dio Sarwar told The Business Post, “Blurring the lines between fiction and reality, ‘Bibhrom’ delves you into a vivid glimpse of the innermost layers of one’s psyche.”

“We also used this track as an opportunity to raise awareness about mental health and the struggles that patients with schizophrenia have to go through each day of their lives,” he added.

‘Bibhrom’ also features talented young musician Ariyan Hasan, who has provided an amazing guitar solo in the song.

Sip n Click’s Mahfuz Alam did the cinematography of the music video, while Zahid Parvez did the colour grading, VFX, and Nosheen Fairooz Oishee did the makeup.
