BTV to air ‘Srabon Mon’ today

Bangladesh Television (BTV), the state-owned television network of Bangladesh, is going to air a special drama titled ‘Srabon Mon’ marking the National Mourning Day 2022. Written by Litu Sakhawat and produced by Mahbuba Ferdous, the drama will be aired tonight at 9 pm.

The storyline of the TV drama revolves around a man called Azmat who became mentally unbalanced after hearing the news of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s brutal murder. He went into a complete paranoia that Mujib’s killers were roaming around him. Mr Azmat started to think that these treacherous people can also murder him anytime. Azmat kept himself under house arrest since that day.

He is alone and his son has settled abroad. Many years later Azmat’s granddaughter came to Bangladesh with her father. She became very curious to know about the situation of her beloved country and her grandfather. She kept thinking that she had to help her grandfather from his paranoia.

She also thinks about how they can get rid of the traitors who are scattered everywhere around her beloved Bangladesh.

The drama will star Dolly Zahur, Shankar Sawjal, Shahed Sharif Khan, Milli Munshi, Nafira, Ronak Bishakha Shyamoli, Kamruzzaman Sabuj and Nithika in various roles.
