Two Chumkis acting together after 2 decades

After almost two decades, Farzana Chumki and Naznin Hasan Chumki have acted together in the same drama ‘Gulshan Avenue Season Two’ directed by Nima Rahman, which is currently airing on Banglavision. Both of them have acted together after a long break. Both Chumkis were last seen together in the drama ‘Paribar O Ek Kompani’ directed by Gazi Rakayet almost two decades ago.

In the series ‘Gulshan Avenue Season Two,’ Farzana Chumki had already been acting, while Naznin Hasan Chumki joined the drama as the wife of actor Tariq Anam Khan from episode 149. 

Farzana Chumki said, “I have been getting a good response for acting in ‘Gulshan Avenue Season Two’ from the beginning. Our respected Nima Apa is making the TV drama with much passion. We, who are working on it, are also doing the work with complete sincerity. My affection has increased while my friend Naznin Hasan Chumki joined this series. Because we didn’t get a chance to work together for many years.”

“But this time it finally happened. We have already participated in the shooting. During the breaks of shooting, we were engaged in gossiping. Shooting will start again from August 22. Hope we’ll be having a great time,” she added.

Naznin Hasan Chumki said, “Apart from the shooting of the drama, earlier we met in the programmes ‘Naame Naame Tokkhor’, ‘Taroka Kothon’ and ‘Bondhu’. After a long time, we got the chance to act together in the same drama, and that’s nice. The entire Gulshan Avenue team has welcomed me warmly – that’s also a very pleasant experience.”
