James to release new song soon

Bangladeshi rock icon Faruq Mahfuz Anam, commonly known as James, is in the works to release a new track. The upcoming song’s production company Bashundhara Digital recently told the press that the track is being prepared by the 57-year-old musician and will be released within the next few months.

James’ personal assistant Rubaiyat Thakur Robin confirmed the news and said, “We have just begun the promotional campaign. But it will take a few months before we release the song.”

Bashundhara Digital is keeping details about the song under wraps. They said that more information will be released soon at a press conference.

Despite being a celebrated rockstar in the country, his much-awaited track ‘I Love You’ and its music video, released last Eid-ul-Fitr, was heavily criticised online for its weak lyric, composition and terrible video. The track was also produced by Bashundhara Digital.

James is the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the rock band “Nagar Baul” (previously known as ‘Feelings’), which he founded in 1977.
