Moushumi starrer film, ‘Bhangan’, directed by Mirza Sakhawat Hossain has received uncut clearance from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board (BFCB) on Wednesday. The film is now expected to release in theatres in October this year.
‘Bhangan’ is basically the story of the life of rootless people. Many of the underprivileged population of this city come from different parts of the country. Some of them are homeless due to the erosion of the river, and some are deprived in various ways in society and have taken shelter in this city to survive. Once, these people gathered in a row, they started living in slums. The film is based on their life stories.
Moushumi will be seen playing the role of a street hawker. According to the makers, even distributers are showing interest to the film. Thus, the release date will be announced soon.
