Popular singer Sabina Yasmin lent her voice with Rajib for a duet song titled ‘Prem Jowar’ for the film ‘Aleya’ on September 12. This is the second time the singers are doing a playback for a film. The song was written by Salehin Raju and composed by Santosh Kumar.
“I usually don’t sing if the tune, composition and lyrics of the song are not that good. The song is a folk song. I personally loved the song. And as for Rajib, he did a playback with me before. He sings very well,” said Sabina Yasmin.
“Sabina Yasmin is a living legend of our music industry. I feel it’s an honour to get a chance to do a playback with her. I consider myself lucky and it is a great achievement for me in my career,” said Rajib.
Earlier, Rajib sang with Sabina Yasmin for the film ‘Shiri Forhad’. That song was written and composed by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul.
Born on September 4 in 1953, Sabina Yasmin is best known as a playback singer. The National Film Award-winning artiste has already lent her vocal to more than 10000 songs in her career. She made her playback debut with the song ‘Modhu Jyotsna Dipali’ in the film ‘Agun Niye Khela’ in 1967.
