Ananta, Barsha announces new film in Malaysia

Bangladeshi businessman, actor, director and producer Ananta Jalil and his wife Dhallywood actress Afiea Nusrat Barsha have recently announced their new film. According to recent media reports, the celebrity couple announced this news at the ‘Din: The Day’ press conference at Kualalampur’s Intercontinental Hotel in Malaysia on Wednesday afternoon. The film is said to be based on Bangladeshi expatriates.

In addition to journalists from electronics and print media, Mustafa Hossain, an expatriate businessman and director of RMH Global, who are the Malaysian distributor of ‘Din: The Day’, film director Zafar Firoz, Dr Halima Sadia, editor of Daily Sangbad Salahuddin Ahmed and many others were present at the event.

In the press conference, the celebrity duo expressed their excitement about the release of ‘Din: The Day’ in Malaysia and they hope to spread Bangla films all over the world in the future.

Anant Jalil said that he wants to build a movie market all over the world with the help of Bangladeshi expatriates. Their last film ‘Din: The Day’ will be released in Malaysia yesterday. They reached Malaysia on Tuesday to promote the film.

The movie is scheduled to release in 11 theatres across Malaysia in the first week. The couple claimed four more theatres will be increased from next week due to high ticket demands on the first day.
