Jaya: No harm done to animals while filming ‘Beauty Circus’

Mahmud Didar’s feature film ‘Beauty Circus’ was released today. The government-granted film will be shown in 11 cinema halls across the country. The makers of the film did not lack any effort while promoting the film.

As a part of the promotional campaign, the lead cast members of the film went to Dhaka University yesterday. Although Jaya Ahsan was in Kolkata for work yet she took a three-day-long leave from the work and became a part of the campaigns as the actress is very excited about the film’s release. However, she will be leaving for Kolkata today.

“In the film, my character Beauty fights to hold her family tradition, the circus which was once led by her father. To play the role better, I had to spend a lot of time with people who are associated with the circus. I experienced the struggle of their life very closely. It was an important journey too. I’m an animal lover and I can assure you that no harm had been made to the animals while making the film” said Jaya while attending the event at Dhaka University.

“The film that was once ours now belongs to the audience. I request everyone to watch the film on the silver screen,” she added.

Another lead cast Ferdous Ahmed was also present at that event. In the film, he plays the role of Mirza Mohammad Bakhtiar who is a one-sided love of Beauty and wants to have her.

“This film overall is really different from other films. Our film industry is witnessing a boom and I think the audience will visit the theatres to watch the film,” said Ferdous.

‘Beauty Circus’ revolves around a woman who makes her living by performing in the circus. Jaya Ahsan is playing the lead role and the name of her character is Beauty. The film also casts Ferdous Ahmed, Tauquir Ahmed, Gazi Rakayet, ABM Sumon, Shatabdi Wadud, Humayun Kabir Sadhu and many others.
