Niloy, Himi duo to star in ‘Poran Pakhi’

Niloy Alamgir and Jannatul Sumaiya Himi, one of the most popular television drama duo in recent times, are set to star together in the upcoming web story titled ‘Poran Pakhi’. The project will be directed by talented music video director Mahin Awlad.

Previously, Niloy and Himi have worked in music videos under Mahin’s direction but this will be their first web project under the same director. ‘Poran Pakhi’ produced by Dhruba music, will be released on their official YouTube channel Dhruba TV.

‘Poran Pakhi’ will be shot on October 6 and 7 at Manikganj’s Film Valley. The project’s director Mahin is currently very busy with all the preparations before the production.

Niloy Alamgir said, “Earlier I worked as a model in a music video of Belal Khan’s song under Mahin’s direction. This will be my first web story under Mahin’s direction. As this is his first project for the web, Mahin is also very serious about it. He set up several meetings with me and shared his thoughts about the project.”

“I also expressed my thoughts on the project with him. Now we are just waiting for the shoot. Besides, I regularly am working with Himi in numerous TV dramas which turned our pair into a fan favourite. I think after its release, the audience will love ‘Poran Pakhi’ too,” added Niloy.

Himi said, “Niloy Bhai and I previously worked with Mahin in a music video. The track was released several years ago on YouTube and received a very good response from the audience. Mahin Bhai directed the music video with great care. This is the first time he’s working on a web project and we are very hopeful about it. Niloy Bhai and I are also serious about the project.”

Mahin Awlad also wrote the story for ‘Poran Pakhi’ and the screenplay and dialogues were written by Ferari Farhad.

Mahin and Himi previously starred in Mahin’s popular music video ‘Keno Aaj’. The track sung by Belal Khan, was written by Jamal Hossain and composed by Ahmed Humayun.
