Puja, Apu finally speak out on Shakib issue

Shakib Khan’s first wife Apu Biswas and his ‘Golui’ co-star Puja Chery have finally spoken out on the on-going rumours about the Dhallywood superstar’s love life. Both have spoken to different media outlets and claimed that they have no relation with Shakib.

Puja Chery denied the rumours of having a relationship with Shakib. Puja said, “I have been said to have relationships with all the actors I have worked with so far. But can anyone provide any evidence? Has anyone seen me and Shakib together having any kind of romantic intimacy apart from our shooting? Has anyone seen us eating together in a restaurant or walking somewhere holding hands?”

She even said that the media gossiped about her and Siam Ahmed too but all of that was slander. The young actress is also upset about the fact that she and her family members are being bullied online for something she has no part in.

Puja was rumoured to go to the United States with Shakib. The actress even posted the news herself with a post on her verified Facebook page on Sunday afternoon, with the caption “Finally I got it!”. After an hour the actress removed the post, which showed her holding her passport with her US visa stamp, from her profile. Her latest film ‘Hridita’ is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by famous author Anisul Hoque. The film will hit theatres on October 7.

On the other hand, Apu Biswas, a Dhallywood actress and mother of Shakib’s first child Abram Khan Joy, also said that she does not want to comment on the recent rumours about Shakib. In a recent interview, she said, “Please, I don’t want to say anything about that. I want to be by myself. I am very happy with my son Joy. I want to keep acting. I want to see my child grow up as a good human being. So, no comment on that.”

Apu Biswas starrer ‘Isha Kha’ is currently running in theatres across Bangladesh.

Moreover, ‘Birotto’ famed actor Emon recently told the press, “Shakib Bhai is not going to the USA. He told me a few days ago he won’t go there anytime soon. As far as I know, he will start working on a new film. That’s why he is very busy.”

However, Shakib Khan was scheduled to attend an award show in the USA. Tahsan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Emon, Faria Shahreen, filmmaker Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj, Mehjabien, Tasnia Farin, Tanzin Tisha, Puja Chery, Ziaul Haque Polash and many other Bangladeshi celebrities will go to the United States on October 13 to participate in the same award giving ceremony.

Bangladeshi virtual space has been buzzing with rumours and gossip after Bangladeshi actress Shobnom Bubly announced that she has a two-and-a-half-year-old son Shehzad Khan Bir with Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan on Friday. Many even questioned their current relationship status, as media rumours indicate that Shakib is currently dating his ‘Golui’ co-star Puja Chery.

Rumours of an affair between Shakib and Bubly came into full flight when she posted pictures of her supposed baby bump with the caption “Throwback to America”, on her Facebook page last Tuesday.

According to sources, Bubly became a mother at Long Island Jewish Medical Hospital in New York, USA. She gave birth to a baby boy on March 21, 2020.
