‘Raagi’ to hit cinemas on Oct 14

The upcoming action film ‘Raagi’ is all set for its nationwide theatrical release on October 14. Produced under the banner of Astha Kathachitra, the film has been written and directed by Mizanur Rahman Mizan.

The teaser, trailer, poster and release date of ‘Raagi’ has been announced through a press meet at Gulshan Shooting Club on Monday. Bangladesh Film Producers-Distributors Association President Khorshed Alam Khosru, filmmakers Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar,  Sohanur Rahaman Sohan, cast and crew of the film were present among others at the event.

In the film, newbie Parvez Abir Chowdhury and action queen Munmun will be seen in an action mood.  The film also casts Anchal, Moumita Mau, Shatabdi Wadud, Maruf Aqib, Khaleda Akhtar, Shakeel Ahmed, Kazi Hayat, Antara Zaman, Bobby, Zia Talukder, RF Romeo, Lion and others.

Abir Chowdhury said, “I would like to thank my team and in particular my director and producer. This is the first time I’ve worked on such an action film. I hope that the audience of Bangla films will love this one. My sincere best wishes to my entire team.”

“If the audience watches our movies and if we can raise our investment from these projects, then the audience of this country will not have to look at South Indian movies. We can fulfil that demand”, he added.
