‘Kohe Facebook’ to stage at Shilpakala

Theatre troupe Aranyak Natyadal will stage the 25th show of its 64th production ‘Kohe Facebook’ today at the studio theatre hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the capital.

The play has been composed and directed by Mamunur Rashid.

The play ‘Kohe Facebook’ revolves around the era of technology where the internet has taken over everywhere from people’s homes to offices. The play tells the story of how the internet has given people speed but taken away emotions.

Facebook is a popular medium in this vast sea of high speed internet communication.

Behind this visible world, Facebook has created an invisible world known as the Virtual World. Its scope and impact is so intense that its effects have turned human beings into biological robots by eradicating emotions, feelings and love from human life, family and society as a whole.
