Director Tuhin Hossein is directing a new serial titled ‘Chiro Kumar’ which stars Marzuk Russell in the role of Chiku Bhagyaban. The television serial will be Tuhin’s debut as a TV serial maker.
The shooting of the serial is still taking place at various locations. The serial will be aired on satellite channel NTV four days each week from November 2.
The daily soap is made on the same story as the telefilm ‘Chiro Kumar Sangha’ which was aired in 2008 on the occasion of Valentine’s Day on satellite channel NTV.
The screenplay of the serial has been written by Golam Rabbani.
“In this era when view means everything, writing a serial becomes very challenging. From the very beginning, I and Tuhin always tried to make stories from the audience’s point of view. But this time all I can say is we really tried to make something,” said Golam Rabbani.
“This is my first serial. So, I took time before I chose the story as I wanted to work with such kind of story which will be relevant in this era to the audience. After multiple meetings with the writer, we came up with the screenplay of ‘Chiro Kumar’.
I think the audience will like the serial as the whole team liked the story. Let’s see what happens next,” said Tuhin.
The series is based on single people. As the main theme of ‘Chiro Kumar’ is deep in the heart every people believes that he or she is single and the organization tries to spread this to mass people.
The story of this serial revolves around the life of a bunch of ever-green singles. Marzuk Russell will be seen as Chiku Bhagyaban who is the head of this organization.
Along with Marzuk Russell, the serial also casts Arosh Khan, Salahuddin Lavlu, Faria Shahrin, Bappi Ashraf, Anik, Afroza Begum and others.
