Shela joins judges’ table at Asia Model Festival

Shirin Akter Shela, who recently received huge appreciation for playing Petni in ‘Pett Kata Shaw’, is now joining the judges’ table at the prestigious Asia Model Festival in South Korea.

The actress announced this news from her Facebook handle which reads, “I am excited to join the judges table in the Asia Model Festival. In 2019, I was representing Bangladesh in the same platform...I remember how nervous I was... Never imagined after 3 years I would be sitting on the other side of the table to evaluate the beautiful talented ladies from all the corners of Asia. Thank you Face of Asia/Bangladesh Crosswalk Communications Azra Mahmood’s Talent Camp for giving me this great honour!”

Along with the news she also posted some pictures of her at the event.

The actress went to South Korea few days ago and is now busy attending the festival. Asia Model Festival 2022 is taking place at Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province of South Korea.

Shela made her acting debut in Nuhash Humayun’s ‘Pet Kata Shaw’ alongside of Shohel Mondol in the episode ‘Ei Building a Meye Nished’. Here she acted as the petni. The story of the anthology goes as, a lonely young man cooks fresh fish in his apartment, and he finds a beautiful mysterious visitor inside his house. Realizing she is a ‘petni’, he must cook the fish for her before she decides it’s him she wants for dinner.

Shela is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Bangladesh 2019. Shila was declared as the best female model of Face of Bangladesh in 2019 too. Shela is presently completing her studies in Physics at the University of Dhaka. Once she earns her degree, she wants to dedicate her career solely to acting.
