Popular Dhallywood actress Shamsunnahar Smrity, commonly known by her stage name Pori Moni, is well recognized for throwing the lavish parties on her birthdays on October 24 every year. Like each year, today (October 24) this actress, who recently became a mother, is all set to celebrate her birthday in a grand manner.
According to recent posts on her personal Facebook profile, Pori Moni will tell a story of her own struggle on her birthday today. The title of her story is ‘Notun Jonmer Golpo’. Under the direction of Rudro Huq, this visual production of Pori Moni’s story will feature three cast members. But Rudro Haq did not reveal the name of the characters and genre of this story. He also wrote the screenplay from Pori’s story.
Director Rudro Huq told The Business Post, “It’s true that I am making a fiction on Pori Moni’s story, but whether it is a short film or a full-length film or something else, I don’t want to say anything at the moment. I will reveal all the details on her birthday. It is actually a special surprise for everyone on Pori Moni’s birthday.”
Regarding her birthday, Pori Moni said, “This birthday is very special for me. This year I am blessed with my baby boy Rajya. In the past, I used to cut my birthday cake with my Nanu (maternal grandfather). This year, I will celebrate it with three people-- my Nanu, Razz, and Rajya. I will cut the cake while holding Rajya’s hand and together the four of us will make it a memorable day.”
On the other hand, on the occasion of the Dhallywood starlet’s birthday, the first song ‘Tui Ki Amay Bhalobasis’ from the Porimoni-starrer film ‘Adventure of Sundarban’ will be released tonight at 8:30pm. Based on the story of Zafar Iqbal, Abu Raihan Jewel directed the film.
