Popular Dhallywood actress Mahiya Mahi took to her personal Facebook profile on the eve of her birthday on Thursday (Oct 27), where she mentioned that she is being assigned two posts in the Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote (Bangabandhu Cultural Alliance).
She has been assigned the post of Joint General Secretary of the organization’s central committee, and as the convener of the Rajshahi division of the organization for the next two years.
Expressing her gratitude, she wrote, “Alhamdulillah”. She also shared photos of the official letters from the organisation.
On her birthday, Mahi’s husband, Gazipur-based businessman and politician Rakib Sarker threw a grand birthday party, where he gave a sculpture of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to his beloved wife as a present. Mahi is currently five months pregnant.
