Moushumi’s ‘Deshantor’, ‘Bhangan’ releasing on same day

Two films starring popular Bangladeshi actress Moushumi are releasing on November 11. Although ‘Deshantor’ by Ashutosh Bhattacharya (Ashutosh Sujan) was scheduled to release on November 11, Mirza Sakhawat Hossain’s ‘Bhangan’ was a surprise for Moushumi.

The two films depict Moushumi in two completely different characters, and for that, the actress expressed her nervousness about how the audience will take the movies.

“The film ‘Deshantor’ is based on before and after the partition. The film has motion, and it’s also very lively too. Sujan made the film with much care. I still remember the first time I heard the storyline. It was so touchy that I could see the whole story clearly. I loved working on that project,” said Moushumi regarding ‘Deshantor’.

While talking about ‘Bhangan’ she said, “Sakhawat’s ‘Bhangan’ is based on rootless people. It is a different kind of story. I hope the audience will take both films positively. As the release dates of the two films are on the same day, the cinema halls have been divided too. I think if the dates were different, it would have been better as the films could have more screens and attract a larger audience too. Yet now I’m waiting to see the audience response.”

“I’ve plans to visit cinema halls after the release. If the screenings of both films are not too far away, I might attend both screenings, but if that doesn’t happen, things might be a bit difficult as I’ve got a busy schedule ahead. Yet I’ll try,” she added.

Moushumi starrer another film, ‘Sonar Chor’ is in the pipeline for release.
