Nirab to star in joint venture film ‘Sparsha’

After a long break, Dhallywood is again moving towards co-production films with India. According to recent reports, popular Bangladeshi actor-model Md Shakhawat Hossain Nirab, known by his stage name Nirab Hossain, will star in an upcoming Indo-Bangla co-production film titled ‘Sparsha.’

The film is a joint venture production between Dhaka›s Action Cut Entertainment and Kolkata›s Roll Camera Action. the project will be co-directed by Bangladeshi filmmaker Ananya Mamun and Indian filmmaker Abhinandan Dutta.

Nirab said, “The first thing that I liked about this project is that it is a joint venture film and it is being made after many years of break. It is also my first joint venture film. We are making this film maintaining all the co-production regulations. The shooting will be done in both Bengals. Hopefully, something smart will be produced.”

The actor also mentioned that the shooting of the film will start in India this week. It will feature two heroines from both Bengals opposite Nirab. The name of the actresses will be announced soon, according to Ananya Mamun, the director of the film’s Bangladesh portion.

Nirab is currently busy with the film ‹Joy Bangla Dhoni›, written by Freedom Fighter, Awami League Presidium Member and Member of Parliament Shajahan Khan. The film is directed by Kha Ma Khurshid and veteran actor and Member of Parliament Asaduzzaman Noor is playing an important role in the film currently being shot in Shariatpur.
