Four films of Elina Shammi in the pipeline

Actress Elina Shammi is passing a busy schedule, working for the four films, --‘Tungiparar Dusshahoshi Khoka’, ‘Chayabrikkha’, ‘Jolrong’ and ‘Maddhyabitta’-- she signed.

While she had already completed the dubbing for two films out of four, Shammi is now doing the dubbing for Tanveer Hasan’s film ‘Madhyabitta’. The actress will soon start working on the remaining one.

“I like to act in both web films and movies. I think I am an actress and if the story is good, and the character is suitable, then as an actress my biggest responsibility is to portray that character perfectly with my performance. I don’t know how much of the place I have been able to gain in the heart of the audience as an actress but I am trying to play every character that has been given to me. The dream of becoming a good actress is what I dream of. I’ll continue to make efforts to make that dream come true,” said Shammi.

Meanwhile, Shammi-starrer web film ‘Muntashir’ will be released on November 19 on OTT platform Binge. Shammi played the role of Afrin in the web film ‘Muntashir’ directed by Iffat Jahan Momo. The actress is very optimistic about the web film.

Along with that Shammi is acting in two serials ‘Jhorer Pakhi’ which is being aired on satellite channel RTV and ‘Octopus’ on ATN Bengali. In both serials, she is playing one of the important roles.

Shammi first entered the industry as a presenter. She was recently praised for her performance in Iftekhar Shuvo’s ‘Mukhosh’.

Last year, Shammi came into the limelight after acting in Raihan Rafi’s ‘Janwar’ web film, Anonno Mamun’s ‘Kasai’.
