Ferdous to work in Indian film again 

‘Hotat Bristy’ famed actor Ferdous is returning to Indian cinema again with the film ‘Mir Zafar Chapter 2’. The film will be directed by Arka Deep Mallika Nath. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin on January 1 in Murshidabad, India. 

Regarding this Ferdous said, “I am going to Kolkata on November 26 for the pre-production of the film. I have to participate in the photoshoot for my character’s lookset in the film. So, I have to stay there for several days. The shooting of the film is scheduled to begin on January 1. The shooting of my part will probably start from January 5.” 

Kolkata’s Srabanti Chatterjee will act opposite Ferdous in the film. Priyanka Sarkar will act opposite Roshan.

In 2019, Ferdous was denied to visit or work in India due to an unprecedented issue. However, after four years, he is now getting permission to work in India again. 

On the other hand, after 25 years, Ferdous Ahmed will be acting in a film directed by Chatku Ahmed. The government-granted film ‘Ahare Jibon’ will be casting Ferdous as a Covid-positive patient.

“Chatku Ahmed is my mentor in this film industry. I learned a lot from him at the beginning of my acting career. In the film ‘Buker Bhitor Agun’ I was cast because of Salman Shah’s unfortunate death. It was very challenging for me to portray the role of Salman Shah. Chatku Ahmed used to guide me in every step. I used to follow his guidance and act accordingly,” said Ferdous.

“He became more professional and expert in filmmaking in all these years. I still take his advice. It feels so good to act under his direction after 25 years. The shooting is taking place now. Hope the audience will watch the film at cinema halls and will like the film,” He added.

Along with Ferdous the film also casts Purnima in the role of ‘Dola’. The film received 60,000,00 taka in funding from the government.

Ferdous has recently completed the film, ‘Dampara’, ‘Russel-er Jonno Opekkha’, ‘Khoma Nei’, ‘Maniker Lal Kakra’, and a few more.
