Popular actress Dilara Hanif Rita best known as Purnima was honoured as the best anchor at the Deepto TV award 2022. This is the first time she received an award for anchoring.

“Apart from acting, my fans have been inspiring me ever since I started anchoring. If I had not been motivated by my audience, I might not have had the courage to move forward. The audience’s love and encouragement have given me the courage to move forward and do better. My sincere gratitude to Deepta TV authorities and all concerned for honouring me as an anchor. Also, my sincere gratitude and love to all my fans as they always supported me. Thus, I was able to move forward with the anchor. This award gave me the motivation to move forward,” said Purnima.

National Film Award-winning actress Purnima is now busy with shooting today for her next film ‘Ahare Jibon’ directed by Chatku Ahmed. She will be seen playing the role of Dola in this film. Popular actor Ferdous Ahmed will be opposite Purnima in ‘Ahare Jibon’ as a Covid-positive patient.

Apart from this, Purnima’s two upcoming films ‘Gaangchil’ and ‘Jam,’ directed by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul, are expected to release.

Purnima made her film debut with ‘E Jibon Tomar Amar’ in 1998. Her notable performance includes ‘Megher Por Megh’ based on the liberation war and directed by Chashi Nazrul Islam. Purnima acted in ‘Shuva’, a story based on Rabindranath Tagore’s short story ‘Shuvashini’.
