The Tangail edition of ‘15th International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh 2022’ will begin tomorrow. The three-day festival will end on November 16.
In this regard, a press conference took place at Bangabandhu and Liberation War Museum auditorium in Tangail yesterday. President of the Children’s Film Society Tangail and Director of the Tangail Festival Mueed Hasan Tarit gave his speech at the press conference. Apart from him, the convener of the organizing committee Samya Rahman, and joint convener Enamul Hasan also spoke at the press conference.
The inauguration programme of the festival will take place at the auditorium of Tangail Zilla Shilpakaa Academy at 11 am on November 24.
Sanowar Hossain MP will be present as chief guest at the event, while Nasiruddin Yousuff will be attending the festival as the special guest along with director Tanveer Hossain Probal, Riazul Riju and festival director Shahriar Al Mamun.
The festival will open with the Bangladeshi film ‘Kathal’, ‘Shohorta Dhaka’, ‘Ashlesha’ and the Malaysian film ‘Framed Memories’. In addition to film shows, there are workshops at the festival.
As part of the workshops, Enamul Hasan will conduct a workshop on cinematography, and animation director Shahriar Al Mamun will conduct a workshop on animation on November 25. Filmmaker Raka Noshin Nawar will conduct a workshop on mobile film production at the closing ceremony of the festival on November 26. 117 films suitable for children from 38 countries around the world will be shown during the festival.
