The whole world is celebrating the FIFA world cup. Although Bangladesh is not part of the quadrennial competition, there is no lack of fervour among the nation. The football fever has speeded on the celebrity of the entertainment industry too. The Business Post’s Purba Zannat brings you the highlights of people in the entertainment industry of Bangladesh and their favourite football team of this year’s world cup which is taking place in Qatar.

Amitabh Reza Chowdhury

The Aynabaji-famed director is a die heart supporter of the Brazilian football team. Just before the opening of the FIFA world cup 2022, the director has been seen supporting his favourite team in a different manner which was wearing Lungi designed like a Brazilian jersey. Apart from that Amitabh Reza Chowdhury is randomly posting statuses supporting Brazil while criticising other teams and their games.

Renowned actor Chanchal Chowdhury is a big fan of Argentina. He has been supporting the team since 1986 when Argentina won the world cup. Back at that time, the actor was a school student.
