A three-day folk festival titled ‘Radharaman Lok Sangeet Utsab- 2022’ organised by Radharaman Sangskriti Charcha Kendra will begin today at the Bangla Academy.
State Minister of Cultural Affairs, K M Khalid will attend the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest, while Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Abul Mansur and poet Mohammad Nurul Huda, the director general of Bangla Academy will attend the event as special guests. Radharaman Sangskriti Charcha Kendra general secretary Bishwajit Roy will deliver the welcome speech.
The festival will open with the performance of the prominent Kitton singer Yoshoda Rani Sutradhar. The slogan of this year’s festival is ‘Radharaman Complex Nirman Somoyer Dabi’.
The festival will continue every day from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
The three-day folk music festival will end on November 27.
