Bangladeshi actress Ashna Habib Bhabna started the shooting of the film ‘Japito Jibon’ in different locations of Rajbari directed by Habibul Islam Habib yesterday. In the film, Bhabna is playing the role of Anjum. The film is being made based on Ekushey Padak-winning noted author Selina Hossain’s novel of the same name.

Eminent actress Dolly Jahur and Imtiaz Barshan also joined the shooting of this movie yesterday.

This is the first time the actress stars in a movie directed by her filmmaker father.

How do you feel as you work under your father’s direction? In response, Bhabna said, “To be honest, acting in a film directed by Abbu is a different kind of love, which could not be expressed in words. But in the shooting spot, I lost my father, here he is only the director. I am observing his tensions regarding the production of the movie and arrangements. My father is always judging me as an artist, which is very important.

But I did not forget that I am his daughter. I didn’t pay as much attention to directors as I did work under other directors. I was more focused on work. But since here I am shooting under the guidance of my father, I have to take care of when my father will drink water, when he will eat something, in which room he is staying, and whether the geyser is on or not.

The whole unit including my father is doing a lot of hard work. I feel that ‘Japito Jibon’ is going to be one of the best films. I am also working hard. There is no way to portray my character without proper hard work.”

Bhabna said that she will be busy working on an OTT platform on November 29 and 30. After that, she will go to Rajbari again.

Earlier, Bhabna played the role of Nayan Tara in Animesh Aich’s film ‘Voyankar Sundar’, Padma in Nurul Alam Atik’s ‘Lal Moroger Jhuti’ and Mahmuda Haque in the upcoming film ‘Dampara’ opposite Ferdous.
