Runa, Bannya to judge Sera Kantha season 7

Audition for the seventh season of the country’s biggest musical reality show ‘Oikko.com.bd-Channel i Sera Kantha’ is going to begin in December.

The divisional audition round will start on December 9.

Three eminent vocalists–  Runa Laila, Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, and Samina Chowdhury – will be on the judging panel for this season of the show and there will be many more surprises from the initial audition round of Sera Kantha-season 7, said the organisers.

The announcement of ‘Oikko.com.bd -Channel i Sera Kantha Season 7’ was made at a press conference held at Channel i office on Tuesday.

Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar, President of Oikko Foundation (CMSME Entrepreneur Development Wing) Shahin Akhtar Rainy, two of the Judges Runa Laila and Rezwana Choudhury Bannya, and journalist Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury were present at the press conference.

“This year ‘Oikko.com.bd-Channel i Sera Kantha Season-7’ is going to start after a long pause over the Corona pandemic and this season will be full of surprises. My heartiest congratulations go to those who are associated with the project. I also congratulate in advance those who are going to join this platform of Sera Kantha,” said Faridur Reza Sagar at the press conference.

Project director of ‘Shera Kantho’ Izaz Khan Swapan, said, “There will be no age limit in this year’s competition. People of all ages will be eligible to participate.”

He also said, “There will an audition in North America this time.”

Runa Laila said, “Those who want to participate as contestants in this event must come well prepared. I hope this year’s Sera Kantha will be remarkable.”

Rezwana Choudhury said, “I hope that those who will come out through this programme of Sera Kantha will be the best artistes of the country. I feel honoured to have my name on the judging panel of this show.”

Oikko.com.bd-Channel i Sera Kantha Season 7 will be anchored by Maria Nur.
