‘Aditi’ is a web film based on a true story

Versatile film actress Sohana Saba recently acted in a government grant film ‘Oshombhob’ under the direction of Aruna Biswas. Here she played her dream role. The film has already been submitted for censor clearance. The Business Post has news that Sohana Saba has already been associated with a web film for the first time. In the web film ‘Aditi’ she will be seen playing the central role. Scripted and directed by Rakesh Basu, the shooting of the web film has been completed at the various locations of Manikganj and Dhaka.

Regarding the web film, Sohana Saba said, “Aditi is a web film based on a true story, which happened in our society a few days ago. At the very beginning of the story, we will see the struggle of a middle-class family, which is basically the struggle of Aditi. The story of this web film mainly revolves around her.”

Working in a web film for the first time, Sohana Saba said, “I really enjoyed working in the film. Because there were some of my favorite co-stars, as well as the whole unit was friendly. It can be said that Aditi is a very familiar character. When Aditi will be released, we will try to reconcile our lives. We will see that this work is also done by me. I also sacrificed. So, Aditi is a reflection of our society. Rakesh tried his best to produce the film.”

Sohana Saba has completed the work of the government grant film ‘Maniker Lal Kankra’ directed by Afzal Hossain. In this, she will be seen opposite actor Ferdous Ahmed.

Saba debuted in film acting by her role in the film ‘Ayna’, directed by Kabori Sarwar. She acted in many notable movies which received positive responses namely Morshedul Islam’s ‘Khela Ghar’, ‘Priyatomeshu’, Murad Parvez’s ‘Chandragrahan’, Saif Chandan’s ‘Abbas’ and others. She also acted in few Kolkata movies and gained popularity there. She has launched her own production house, Khamarbari, and already produced her very first production ‘Twin Returns’ for binge.

In 2021, she acted on television series ‘Boli’ directed by Shankha Dashgupta.
