After wrapping Dunki shoot in Saudi Arabia, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has jetted off to Mecca. A video of the superstar has gone viral where he was seen performing Umrah, at the holy city, which is an Islamic pilgrimage. The actor was seen draping an all white ensemble and was also seen wearing a mask for coronavirus protection, reports Times of India.
Earlier the actor had shared a video from Saudi Arabia announcing the schedule wrap of the film. Sharing the video, he wrote, “A very big Shukran to #SaudiArabiaMinistryOfCulture , the team and all who made this shoot schedule of #Dunki so smooth…”.
In the heartfelt video, he was heard saying, “There’s nothing more satisfying than completing a shooting schedule as is with Dunki here in Saudi.” He also thanked director Rajkumar Hirani along with the entire cast and crew members involved in the making of the film. Calling the shoot ‘lovely’ Shah Rukh even thanked the government for letting them film at the ‘spectacular locations’ of their country.
Apart from Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan will also be seen in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He also has Atlee’s Jawan, opposite Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. Scheduled to release on 2nd June 2023, the film will mark Khan’s pan-India debut.
