Runa Laila lents voice to Gazi Mazharul Anwar’s song

Legendary singer Runa Laila lent her voice to the song ‘Jodi Proshno Koro’ written by the late legendary lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar. The song is a patriotic one and also one of the last songs written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar before his demise.

The song will be released under the banner of TM Music.

The song has been made in collaboration with composer and lyricist Shafiq Tuhin and Fuad Naser Babu has done the musical arrangements. The shooting for the music video for the song is expected to take place on December 9.

Although, the song was recorded on December 3 but it is expected to be released before Bangladesh’s Victory Day.

The song ‘Jodi Proshno Koro’ will soon be available for streaming on YouTube along with some other platforms.

Runa Laila will be one of the three judges of the seventh season of the country’s biggest musical reality show ‘Oikko.com.bd-Channel i Sera Kantha’ which will start from December 9.

The legendary Bangladeshi singer recently marked her 70th birthday this year.
