IMDb released the list of 10 Most Popular Indian Stars for 2022 and Dhanush topped it while Alia Bhatt occupied the second spot.
This year Dhanush famously starred in Russo Brothers’ Hollywood project ‘The Gray Man’. Alia Bhatt, featured in 4 films this year - which were Gangubai Kathiawadi, RRR, Brahmastra and Darlings.
According to the list Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ram Charan were ranked third and fourth respectively.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu was ranked fifth on the list as her impressive performances this year included Yashoda and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal.
Hrithik Roshan, is listed among the top 6 stars. Kiara Advani, star of this year’s hits Jugjugg Jeeyo and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is on the seventh position in the list. However, Jr NTR’s smash hit RRR and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa helped the actors to secure their respective slots of 8th and 9th on the list and KGF 2 star Yash also made it to the top 10.
