Pankaj shares floor with Jaya

Popular Bangladeshi actress Jaya Ahsan will debut in Bollywood with versatile actor Pankaj Tripathi in a new movie which yet to get a title.

The shooting of the film is scheduled to be shot in Mumbai and Kolkata this December.

Pankaj himself confirmed the news, as he posted some pictures with Jaya Ahsan, Aniruddha Roy Choudhury, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Sanjana Sanghi, Mahesh Ramanathan, Viraf Sarkari (WizFilms), and Shyam Sunder.

The Facebook post reads, “New movie starting today with great talent.”

According to Hindustan Times, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury will direct the film, while Wiz Films, HT Content Studio, and KVN Productions will produce it. However, the title of the film is yet to be revealed.

The film will be an investigative drama with a heartwarming story of a dysfunctional family coming together. Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan, Dilip Shankar, Paresh Pahuja, Varun Buddhadev, and many more will star it.

As the film is all set to go on floors, Producer Viraf Sarkari said “This is our first feature film production and we are extremely delighted to begin this journey with a socially relevant film being put together by a multi-award-winning and talented team of actors Pankaj Tripathi, Sanjana Sanghi Parvathy Thiruvothu, Jaya Ahsan, our writer Ritesh Shah, DOP Avik Mukhopadhya, and Music Director Shantanu Moitra. The film is expected to be released in 2023.
