Diary of Genocide: Story of killing of martyred intellectuals

A short film titled ‘Diary of Genocide’ has been made based on the killing of our martyred intellectuals who lost their lives in 1971. Actor Rawnak Hasan acted in it. Written by Hasanat Bin Matin, the film has been directed by Sourav Kundu.

Produced under Up Studio Production House, ‘Diary of Genocide’ will be released today on Up Studio Production House and Publications’ Facebook page and YouTube channel.

“The story revolves around the killing of the martyred intellectuals in our country. I think this film will become a document of our history. This kind of work should be more regular in our country so that new generations can learn about our history,” said Rawnak Hasan.

“The intellectuals are the greatest resource of the country. This film is a tribute to remember the intellectuals who sacrificed their lives. Through this small work, I have tried to bring out the story of the killings carried out by the Pakistanis in collaboration with the traitors of this country to make the Bengali nation demented,” said the director.

The short film also casts Purnima Bristi, J I Mohsan, Bipul, Tipu, and others.
