Karishma Cultural Group, a platform of artistes with neurological disabilities, will stage Jasimuddin’s acclaimed play ‘Nakshi Kanthar Math’ at the national theatre hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy today evening.
They will stage the dram as part of the celebration of the 9th anniversary of the PFDA Vocational Training Center.
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid will attend the event as the chief guest. The director general of Shilpakala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky, and the managing director of National Finance Ltd, Saifuddin M Naser, will be present as the chief guests. The event will be preceded by the founder chairman of PFDA Sajida Rahman Danny.
It will be the second staging of the production by the Karishma Cultural Group.
Convened and managed by the PFDA Vocational Training Center, Karishma is the first cultural group consisting of persons with neurological disabilities. A total of 39 artistes with neurological disabilities are now associated with the group.
